Designed for Advanced, Pre-professional and Professional dancers, aged 11 to 23.
Due to the limited number of places available, a selection will be made based on the applicant’s resumé and photographs.
Applying for the course does not automatically guarantee a place: only applicants who receive a confirmation of acceptance will be admitted to the course.

How to apply?
You can apply for the ESB Summer School via the online application form on our ESB Applications website.
Before you can fill out the application, you must register for an account.

Video & Photographs
You will be asked to upload a video and at least four photographs.
The video should contain barre work (5 minutes max) and center work (5 minutes max).
A classical and contemporary solo can be added optionally.
A link to the video hosted on YouTube or Vimeo should be added to the application form.

The photographs should be full-body shots showing:

  • Portrait photo (for administrative purposes only)
  • Tendu à la seconde (en face)
  • First arabesque (en profil)
  • Demi plié in first position (en profil)
  • Another dance photo of your choice (optional)

Application fee
There is a non-refundable application fee of € 50 to cover administration costs.
Applications will be processed only after the application fee has been paid.
Payment will take place online, credit cards only, after submitting the application.

Course Fees
It is only after receiving confirmation of acceptance that participants will be asked to pay the course fees.

These fees include all dance classes, repertoires, coaching. Not included are all drinks, food, personal expenses, travel and accommodation. We offer an Accommodation Package for participants of the course. More information about accommodation can be found on the Accommodation page. Insurance
It is mandatory that participants take out personal health, travel, and accident insurance.
The administration cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury, however caused, to any person attending the course or third parties, nor for the loss or damage of any property, on or off the premises of the course or any to the course-related locations.
