Application and Fees

Designed for dancers of advanced and professional levels, age 11 to 21 years old. Due to a limited number of places, a selection will be made based on the applicant’s resumé and photographs. Applying for the course does not automatically guarantee a place: only applicants who receive a confirmation of acceptance will be admitted to the course.

How to apply?
You can apply for the ESB Summer School by filling out the digital application form. You will be asked to upload at least four photographs. These photographs should be full body shots showing:

  • Portrait photo (for administrative purposes only)
  • Tendu à la seconde (en face)
  • First arabesque (en profil)
  • Demi plié in first position (en profil)
  • Another dance photo of your choice (optional)

Application fee
There is a non-refundable application fee of € 30 to cover administration costs. Applications will be processed only after the application fee has been paid. Payment will take place online, after submitting the application. Due to a limited number of places available, candidates are advised to apply as soon as possible.

Course fees
It is only after receiving confirmation of acceptance that participants will be asked to pay the course fees. We offer three programs:

  • Bournonville Week (15-21 years) (July 8-13, 2019)
    Course fee: € 500,00
  • Two-Week Intensive (15-21 years) (July 15-27, 2019)
    Course fee: € 1.200,00
  • Bournonville Week + Two-Week Intensive (15-21 years) (July 8-27, 2019)
    Course fee: € 1.400,00
  • 10-Day Intensive (11-14 years) (July 10-20, 2019)
    Course fee: € 600,00

These fees include all dance classes, coaching and the final presentation. Not included are all drinks, food, personal expenses and accommodation. We do offer an Accommodation Package for participants of the course at Fraser Suites Harmonie Paris La Defense, our accommodation partner. Participants will be asked to pay a non-refundable deposit within two weeks after their acceptance.

Enrollment within the course is only assured after all course fees have been paid fully.

It is mandatory that the participant takes out personal health, travel and accident insurances. The administration cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury, however caused, to any person attending the course or third parties, nor for the loss or damage of any property, on or off the premises of the course or of the Fraser Suites.
