ESB Summer School

Update regarding the Coronavirus/COVID-19
Due to the current situation in Italy regarding the Coronavirus/COVID-19, ESB has changed its conditions for the ESB Summer School 2020. On June 15th 2020, the administration will take a final decision whether or not it is safe to organize the Summer School. ESB will follow government guidelines. In case the Summer School would have to be cancelled, all paid fees (except the application fee) will be refunded. In addition, we have extended the deadline for applications to May 1st 2020. ESB Summer School takes place during the last three weeks of July and is hosted each year in a different European capital city. This year, Jean-Yves Esquerre is offering our internationally sought-after summer school in the heart of Rome, at the studios of ArtVillage. The ESB Summer School is part of the newly founded European School of Ballet. The classes will be taught by a team of international ballet stars and pedagogues.

From July 13th through August 1st 2020 we will be offering the following courses:

Bournonville Week (13-18 July 2020, 15-21 years old)
Weekly class, variations, pantomime, lectures

10-Day Intensive (15-25 July 2020, 11-14 years old)
Classical ballet, contemporary classes, folk dance classes, creative classes

Two-Week Intensive (20 July-1 August 2020, 15-21 years old)
Classical ballet, brio and pointe work, pas-de-deux and variations, Dawson repertoire, Forsythe repertoire
