Pedagogical Week – Bournonville/Balanchine
25th- 30th July 2022
Available to practicing and aspiring professionals of dance education, our Pedagogical Week is designed to provide visiting teachers with an intensive, in-depth practical immersion into ESB and Bournonville and Balanchine’s pedagogical methods.
The program includes observation of classes and demonstration, talks with international teachers and ESB Director, offering its participants an opportunity to closely experience unique teaching environments.
The program lasts a week and includes:
Observation of daily classes (from 10:00 to 17:45/16:45), at ESB’s Summer school Bournonville-Balanchine Week and 10-Day Intensive.
- Observation of Bournonville-Balanchine demo on the 30th of July.
- Pedagogical meetings with ESB Teacher Christiane Marchant.
- Question and answer session with Bournonville stager Dinna Bjørn and Balanchine stager Suki Schorer.
- Question and answer session with ESB’s Director Jean-Yves Esquerre.
- Daily lunch.
Cost: €750 (excluding accommodation and travel).
