Born in Argentina, she studied at Colon Theatre’s Institute of Art in Buenos Aires. In 1990 she won the Revelation Award at the Varna Competition and The Encouragement Award in 1992. She has danced with several companies like Ballet Argentino (Director: Julio Bocca), Colon Theatre Ballet Company and Ballet National de Nancy where she danced as a Principal dancer most of the classical and contemporary roles of the repertoire. She then joined Ballet National de Marseille and was finally invited to work with the Ballettensemble of the Theater Basel.

During her career, she has performed works of Lacotte, Bournonville, Petipa, Nureyev, Balanchine, Fokine, Kylian, Wherlock,  Duboc, Pietragalla, Malandain, Prejlocaj among others.

Director/Founder of Pro Ballet School based in Basel, Switzerland since 2013, she is a guest teacher with many international schools, companies and competitions. Since 2015, she is a coach for the Prix de Lausanne.

Cinthia Labaronne started collaborating with European School of Ballet in 2025.
