Born in Nice, France, Sandrine studied at the Conservatoire Supérieur de Paris and was awarded with the Prix de Lausanne in 1993.
After joining the Paris Opéra Ballet for 2 years, she danced as a principal dancer in international companies such as Les Ballets de Monte-Carlo, Zurich Ballett, National Theater Mannheim,Alberta Ballet, Ballet British Columbia and Béjart Ballet Lausanne.
In 2012, Alonzo King offered her a position in his Lines Ballet Faculty where she taught and choreographed for 4 years. Sandrine was Ballet Mistress with the Royal New Zealand.
Ballet, Dresden Frankfurt Dance Company and more recently Ballet British Columbia and also a guest teacher for the Scottish Ballet, Bern Ballet, Basel Ballet, Heidelberg Staatstheater, Arts Umbrella in Vancouver, School of Dance in Wellington, New Zealand. Sandrine joined the faculty of the San Francisco Ballet School for the season 2019/2020.
Sandrine Cassini joined European School of Ballet as a Resident Ballet Mistress in 2020.
